From 2000-2007

Jack and Polly Wilson pioneered the ministry
of Youth for Christ in Guinea-Bissau.
The centerpiece of the ministry is a
youth training center where godly leaders
are prepared and trained to bring about
change in West Africa and also to take the
Gospel of Jesus to that region.

For the last two years, the ministry of YFC
in Bissau has been touching thousands of
lives each week.  The ministry is also sustained
financially through local resources and is
run by the national board of directors.

When the Wilsons return to Bissau in 2008
they will continue to play a role in YFC
but mainly with regards to training and
the starting of new centers.

From 2008-

The Wilsons main focus when returning to
Guinea-Bissau in June of 2008 is to
help start and organized the first ever
mission sending agency of the
Evangelical Church of Guinea-Bissau.

The name of this mission agency is
Mission Life International and was the
initiative of the Central Church of the
Evangelical Church of Guinea-Bissau.

As Guinea-Bissau is one of the 5 poorest
nations in the world, the challenges are
immense for funding and sustaining the
national missionaries that we send out.
Guinea-Bissau is located geographically in
the center of Muslim nations that are
desperate for the Gospel.
